#13 Do it Yourself | How to Make | Yummy | Spicy | Tasty | Pepper Chicken Dry | in 20 Minutes

Ingredients Required.

1)  Chicken:  500 gms
2)  Onion:  1 Medium Size
3)  Small Onion: half a cup ( Optional)
4)  Tomato: 2 Medium Size
5)  Red and Green chilli : Each 1 no.
6)  Garlic: 4-5 Cloves
7) Ginger: 2 small pieces
8) Salt as required
9) Masala
   i) Chicken Masala : 1 Teaspoon
   ii) Chilli powder : 1 Teaspoon
   iii) Garam powder : 1/2 Teaspoon
   iv) Pepper powder: 2 Teaspoons ( White/ black)
   v) Saunf: 1 Teaspoon
   vi) Turmeric: 1/2 Teaspoon
10) Corn flour
11) Cinnamon - 1 no
12) Bay leaf: 1-2 nos
13) Cloves: 1-2 nos


Steps To Prepare:

1 )  Make sure you have all ingredients in place, clean the chicken well and keep it ready in a vessel.
2)   Grind saunf, garlic, ginger in a mixer.
3)   Add the saunf, garlic, ginger mixer in the chicken, add 1 teaspoon of pepper, bit of turmeric powder and add salt as required. Cook the chicken in a pressure cooker ( To cook in pressure cooker: Add chicken along with the ingredients in a cooker and add water in a ratio of 1:2, wait for 2 whistles and switch of the stove.)

 Remove the soup from the chicken and keep it separately.

4) Meanwhile, add some onion, tomato, chilli (both red/green) in the mixer which we grinded the saunf, ginger garlic paste and grind it well until it becomes a paste
5) Heat the pan, add some oil and once it is becomes hot add the bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon and saute it for few seconds, add the chopped onion, a bit of turmeric powder and saute it for 1 minute.

Add the onion, tomato paste in the pan and saute it for another 1 -2 minutes, then add the chopped   tomatoes and saute it for 2 minutes.

Add the masala(s) - chicken powder, garam masala, pepper powder in the pan and mix it well. Add the chicken pieces in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add corn flour for taste and allow the chicken to be cooked for another 3-4 minutes in a low flame.


Yummy. Spicy and tasty pepper chicken is ready to taste.


You can take this recipe with 
1) Chappathi
2) Plain rice 
3) Roti
4) Side Dish for Sambhar rice 
5) Side Dish for any south Indian which are less spicy.
